What is CVE-2026-1984?

The Ibtana – Ecommerce Product Addons plugin for WordPress is susceptible to unauthorized post meta modification due to insufficient capability checks on the 'iepa_use_gt_editor' AJAX action. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 0.4.7.7 and permits authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access or higher to manipulate or erase arbitrary post meta entries associated with the 'iepa_builder' meta key. As a result, this can lead to unauthorized alteration of content or settings on the affected WordPress sites.
