What is CVE-2026-19857?
The Formidable Forms WordPress plugin, prior to version 6.35, is susceptible to a security vulnerability that allows unauthenticated users to manipulate a request-derived value. This flaw enables malicious visitors to execute arbitrary shortcodes with attacker-defined attributes. When these shortcodes are rendered on any page containing the affected form, it results in unwanted scripts being processed server-side. This may lead to various forms of web exploitation and adversely affect the website's integrity.
