What is CVE-2026-1988?

The Flexi Product Slider and Grid for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress contains a Local File Inclusion vulnerability due to improper sanitization of the theme parameter within the flexipsg_carousel shortcode. This flaw allows attackers with Contributor-level access to exploit the system by including malicious PHP files through directory traversal techniques, enabling them to execute arbitrary code. Affected versions are all up to and including 1.0.5, posing significant security risks to websites using this plugin.
