What is CVE-2026-2001?
The WowRevenue plugin for WordPress contains a serious vulnerability due to a missing capability check in the 'Notice::install_activate_plugin' function. This flaw exists in all releases up to and including version 2.1.3, allowing authenticated users with subscriber-level permissions or higher to install arbitrary plugins on the affected site. This creates a potential pathway for remote code execution, putting the site and its data at risk.
