What is CVE-2026-2023?

The WP Plugin Info Card plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) due to a lack of proper nonce validation in the ajax_save_custom_plugin() function. This vulnerability exists in all versions up to and including 6.2.0, allowing unauthenticated attackers to craft forged requests that can create or alter custom plugin entries. If an administrator is tricked into clicking a malicious link, the attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute unauthorized actions within the WordPress site.
