Access Control Flaw in Gitea's Stopwatch API
CVE-2026-20883
6.5MEDIUM
What is CVE-2026-20883?
The Gitea stopwatch API has a significant access control deficiency, failing to re-validate permissions for users after their access to a private repository has been revoked. As a result, such users can still access sensitive information, including issue titles and repository names, via previously initiated stopwatches. This loophole jeopardizes the confidentiality of private repository data.
