This flaw allows authenticated users with Author-level permissions or higher to manipulate post metadata across arbitrary posts. Furthermore, this vulnerability, compounded by insufficient input sanitization, can lead to Stored Cross-Site Scripting, particularly affecting higher-privileged users such as Administrators when they access the 'Competitor' tab within the GetGenie sidebar of compromised posts.
