What is CVE-2026-2356?
The User Registration & Membership โ Custom Registration Form, Login Form, and User Profile plugin for WordPress is susceptible to an Insecure Direct Object Reference. This vulnerability stems from insufficient validation of the user-controlled 'member_id' key in the 'register_member' function, allowing unauthenticated attackers to potentially delete user accounts that have been recently created, which possess the 'urm_user_just_created' user meta. This weakness affects all versions of the plugin up to 5.1.2, posing a significant risk to website owners by jeopardizing user data integrity and access.
