The Bold Page Builder plugin for WordPress exhibits a vulnerability that allows for Stored Cross-Site Scripting via its 'bt_bb_shortcode' shortcode. This issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping concerning user-supplied attributes across all versions up to and including 5.6.8. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and higher can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. Consequently, these scripts will execute when users access the compromised pages, potentially leading to unauthorized actions and data exposure.
