What is CVE-2026-2429?

The Community Events plugin for WordPress is susceptible to SQL Injection attacks through the 'ce_venue_name' field in a CSV upload. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization on user-supplied CSV data and insufficient preparation of the SQL query utilized in the on_save_changes_venues function. Authenticated users with Administrator-level access can exploit this flaw to manipulate existing SQL queries, facilitating the extraction of sensitive information from the database through specially crafted CSV files.
