What is CVE-2026-2437?

The WP Travel Engine, a Tour Booking Plugin for WordPress, is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the 'wte_trip_tax' shortcode. Authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access or above, could exploit this flaw to inject arbitrary scripts into the affected pages. As a result, the malicious scripts would execute whenever a user accesses these compromised pages, potentially leading to significant security issues.
