The Pagelayer plugin for WordPress presents a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability, allowing authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to exploit the Custom Attributes field in the Button widget. This vulnerability arises from an incomplete blocklist within the 'pagelayer_xss_content' filtering function, permitting the injection of arbitrary web scripts. Such injected scripts execute when users access affected pages, potentially compromising site security and user data.
