What is CVE-2026-2580?

The WP Maps – Store Locator, Google Maps, OpenStreetMap, Mapbox, Listing, Directory & Filters plugin for WordPress has a serious SQL injection vulnerability. This issue arises from improper escaping of user-supplied parameters and inadequate preparation of existing SQL queries, specifically via the 'orderby' parameter. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to introduce malicious SQL queries, potentially leading to unauthorized access and extraction of sensitive information from the database. Users of all versions up to and including 4.9.1 are at risk and should take immediate action to secure their installations.
