What is CVE-2026-2688?
The HIPAA FORMS WordPress plugin before version 3.2.0 is vulnerable to an authentication bypass issue. This is achieved through a hardcoded parameter present in all AJAX requests which allows attackers to bypass nonce validation checks on the server. As a result, unauthenticated users can access sensitive AJAX endpoints without proper authentication, posing significant security risks for websites utilizing this plugin.
