What is CVE-2026-2723?

The Post Snippits plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) due to insufficient nonce validation on the settings page handlers. In versions up to and including 1.0, this flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to exploit the vulnerability by tricking site administrators into triggering changes through forged requests. This can lead to unauthorized modification of the plugin settings and potential injection of malicious scripts.
