What is CVE-2026-29146?

A Padding Oracle vulnerability in the EncryptInterceptor component of Apache Tomcat poses a significant risk to data encryption mechanisms. This flaw exists when Tomcat is operated with its default configuration, potentially allowing attackers to exploit weaknesses in data encryption processes.
