What is CVE-2026-3375?

The LiteSpeed Cache plugin for WordPress is susceptible to stored cross-site scripting due to flaws in its handling of CSS content through specific REST API endpoints. Specifically, the endpoints /wp-json/litespeed/v1/notify_ccss and /wp-json/litespeed/v1/notify_ucss accept CSS content without proper sanitization before storing it. This content can later be rendered inline on pages without escaping, allowing attackers to inject malicious JavaScript. Furthermore, the access control mechanism that protects these endpoints is based on IP validation, which can be easily bypassed in certain configurations, especially when the WordPress site is behind a reverse proxy, load balancer, or CDN. This flaw poses a significant risk, especially for sites that leverage these technologies in their architecture.

Affected Version(s)
