What is CVE-2026-3445?

The ProfilePress plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows authenticated users with subscriber-level access and above to exploit a missing ownership verification in the process_checkout() function. By referencing another user's active subscription during checkout, attackers can manipulate the proration calculations. This results in potential unauthorized access to lifetime membership plans without making actual payments, highlighting the need for immediate updates to secure user payment processes.
