The Sherk Custom Post Type Displays plugin for WordPress suffers from a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability due to improper input sanitization and output escaping on the 'title' shortcode attribute. This flaw allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious web scripts. The vulnerability arises when the title attribute's value is directly included in an HTML tag without proper escaping, posing a significant risk whenever users access the affected pages.
