What is CVE-2026-3831?

The Database for Contact Form 7, WPforms, and Elementor forms plugin for WordPress is susceptible to unauthorized data access due to a lack of capability checks in the entries_shortcode() function. This issue affects all versions up to and including 1.4.9. Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher can exploit this vulnerability to access sensitive form submissions, which include personal information such as names, emails, and phone numbers.
