What is CVE-2026-41949?

The Dify platform, specifically versions up to 1.14.1, is susceptible to an authorization bypass vulnerability within its file preview endpoint. This flaw allows any authenticated user to access sensitive information by exploiting the file's UUID. Attackers can utilize the /console/api/files/{file_id}/preview endpoint to retrieve up to 3,000 characters of any uploaded document across multiple workspaces and tenants without the requisite permissions. The situation is exacerbated by Dify Cloud's feature that permits unauthenticated users to create accounts easily, enabling attackers to bypass security measures with minimal effort.

Affected Version(s)

dify 0 <= 1.14.1

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)
