What is CVE-2026-4268?

The WP Go Maps plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows for stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) through inadequate input sanitization and output escaping. The issue arises in the parameter 'wpgmza_custom_js' and is present in all versions up to and including 10.0.05. This vulnerability potentially enables authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access or higher to inject arbitrary malicious scripts into web pages. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses the impacted page, leading to a range of malicious actions against site visitors.
