What is CVE-2026-4358?
A vulnerability exists in MongoDB where an authenticated user with write permissions can craft a specific aggregation query with $lookup, potentially leading to severe memory mismanagement issues within the slot-based execution engine. This can occur when an in-memory hash table is spilled to disk, causing unpredictable behavior in the system.
