What is CVE-2026-4859?

The SP Blog Designer plugin for WordPress has a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the 'design' attribute of the wpsbd_post_carousel shortcode. This vulnerability allows authenticated users with Contributor-level access and above to inject and execute arbitrary web scripts on pages. When users access these manipulated pages, the scripts can run in their browsers, potentially compromising user data and security.
