What is CVE-2026-4949?

The ProfilePress plugin for WordPress has a missing authorization flaw in its 'process_checkout' function, allowing authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access or higher to subscribe to inactive membership plans. By manipulating the 'change_plan_sub_id' parameter during the checkout process, these users can gain unauthorized access to plans that should not be available to them.
