What is CVE-2026-5077?

The Total theme for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to inadequate output escaping when rendering titles in the home blog section template. This vulnerability allows authenticated users with contributor-level access and higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. The exploitation occurs when a malicious post containing a script is published and displayed with a featured image, leading to script execution whenever a user visits the affected page.
