What is CVE-2026-5356?

The LatePoint Calendar Booking Plugin for Appointments and Events for WordPress is susceptible to an Improper Input Validation flaw. This vulnerability arises from the plugin's Stripe Connect payment processor in all versions up to and including 5.4.0, which allows unauthenticated attackers to manipulate a client-supplied PaymentIntent ID. By exploiting this flaw, attackers can execute unauthorized transactions and pay arbitrary amounts by submitting previously successful PaymentIntent tokens, thereby posing a significant risk to users and transactions.
