What is CVE-2026-56036?

An unauthenticated SQL injection vulnerability exists in versions of the SimplePay plugin for WordPress up to and including 5.5.6. This vulnerability allows attackers to exploit the application by injecting arbitrary SQL commands into the query executed by the database. As a result, unauthenticated users can potentially manipulate the database and retrieve sensitive information, posing a significant risk to the integrity and confidentiality of the application.
