What is CVE-2026-5693?

The Smart Appointment & Booking plugin for WordPress suffers from a serious security deficiency due to the absence of a capability check and a flaw in nonce validation within the saab_cancel_booking() function. In all versions up to and including 1.0.8, the logic error causes the nonce check to skip when any value is supplied for the security parameter, allowing unauthenticated attackers to cancel any bookings simply by using a known booking ID.
