The LightSync Pro plugin for WordPress is susceptible to an arbitrary file upload vulnerability due to inadequate file type validation within the rest_replace_media() function. This flaw affects all versions up to and including 2.1.6, allowing authenticated users with Author-level permissions or greater to upload unauthorized files to the server.
