What is CVE-2026-6174?

The CC Child Pages plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability found in the 'more' parameter. This issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping mechanisms in all versions up to and including 2.1.1. Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher can exploit this weakness to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These scripts will execute when any user accesses the compromised page, potentially compromising user data and site integrity.
