What is CVE-2026-63355?

The Siemens Trace Management System has a vulnerability where the product fails to correctly sanitize signal names present in imported CSV trace files. This oversight allows attackers to craft malicious trace files that, when imported by users with the 'Read diagnostics' function right, can lead to unauthorized execution of JavaScript in the user's browser. Such an attack can facilitate social engineering techniques where the attacker can manipulate interactions through the affected selection menus.
