What is CVE-2026-6551?

The Timeline Blocks for Gutenberg plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) through the 'titleTag' attribute in the timeline-blocks/tb-timeline-blocks block. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied data, affecting all versions up to and including 1.1.10. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above can exploit this flaw to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, leading to potential execution of these scripts whenever the compromised page is accessed by users.
