What is CVE-2026-6725?

The WPC Smart Messages for WooCommerce plugin includes a vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to exploit the 'text' attribute of the wpcsm_text_rotator shortcode. Due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, this vulnerability enables the injection of arbitrary web scripts into pages. Consequently, whenever a user accesses an affected page, the injected scripts are executed, posing a significant risk to site integrity and user security.
