What is CVE-2026-6965?

The Tutor LMS plugin for WordPress is susceptible to an Insecure Direct Object Reference vulnerability. This is due to the get_course_id_by() function not validating the user-supplied course GET parameter, leading to unauthorized access against instructor-level operations. This flaw permits authenticated users with instructor-level access to manipulate any instructor's course content, enabling actions such as deleting lessons, altering grades, and accessing unpublished content. Such unauthorized access could compromise the integrity of the eLearning environment.
