What is CVE-2026-73631?

This vulnerability involves the exposure of sensitive data by sharing the per-request parsing state across concurrent requests in the JSON plugin of Apache Struts. As a result, data from one request can inadvertently be accessible in another, compromising the integrity and confidentiality of the application. Although JSON request body population is not enabled by default, it is critical for users of affected versions to upgrade to 7.3.0 to remediate this issue. Applications that do not utilize the JSON plugin remain unaffected.
