What is CVE-2026-74926?
The MultiVendorX WordPress plugin prior to version 5.0.16 lacks proper verification of user permissions when accessing its REST API routes. This vulnerability enables authenticated users, including those with minimal privileges such as subscribers, to unintentionally or maliciously overwrite store details, payout settings, and even replace ownership records. This flaw poses a significant risk of unauthorized data manipulation and can lead to potential exploitation by malicious actors.
