Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability in Cozy Blocks for WordPress
CVE-2026-75019

6.4MEDIUM

What is CVE-2026-75019?

The Cozy Blocks plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows authenticated users with contributor-level access or above to conduct Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the cozyHoverEffect block attribute. Specifically, attackers can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, which then execute when users access these pages. The flaw persists even after using wp_kses_post for sanitization, due to the injection payload's construction that bypasses typical filtering techniques, enabling event-handler injection at the rendering phase.

Affected Version(s)

Cozy Blocks – Page Builder for Gutenberg Editor & FSE with 700+ Patterns, 58 Blocks & Templates 0 <= 2.2.16
