What is CVE-2026-75965?

The User Profile Builder plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting issue caused by inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the 'date' shortcode attribute. This vulnerability impacts all versions up to and including 4.0.0. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level permissions can exploit this flaw to inject arbitrary scripts into pages, which will execute when users access those pages. For the vulnerability to be exploited, the 'wppb_toolbox_shortcodes_settings[format-date]' option needs to be enabled by an administrator.
