What is CVE-2026-7620?

The Notification for Telegram plugin for WordPress is susceptible to an authorization bypass flaw present in all versions up to and including 3.5.1. This vulnerability arises because the plugin fails to adequately verify user permissions for certain actions. As a result, authenticated users with subscriber-level access and higher can exploit this weakness to create, modify, or reschedule the nftb_cron_hook WordPress cron event. Such manipulation allows unauthorized control over the plugin's background task scheduling, potentially compromising the integrity of notifications sent through Telegram.
