What is CVE-2026-77003?

The Content Mask plugin for WordPress prior to version 1.8.5.5 contains a vulnerability that fails to validate user permissions when creating post types. This oversight permits users with minimal roles, such as Contributor, to publish posts and pages without possessing the required publish capability. Such a flaw can pose significant security risks by enabling unauthorized content publication, potentially compromising the integrity of the site.
