What is CVE-2026-77186?
The My Calendar plugin for WordPress is impacted by a Stored Cross-Site Scripting flaw that occurs due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the 'fallback' Shortcode Attribute. This vulnerability allows authenticated users with contributor-level access and higher to successfully execute arbitrary web scripts on pages viewed by other users. The issue arises because hex-encoded shortcode attribute payloads escape crucial characters, which makes them undetectable during the save process, thereby leading to potential exploitations when these payloads are rendered in real-time.
