What is CVE-2026-7726?

The Layouts for WPBakery plugin for WordPress is exposed to security risks stemming from a lack of capability checks on the Layouts_WPB_Remote::template_sync() callback. This vulnerability enables unauthenticated individuals to initiate outbound HTTP requests to the plugin vendor's API. Attackers can write arbitrary JSON-decoded responses directly into the site's wp_options table without proper nonce verification or rate limiting, significantly compromising the integrity of the WordPress installation.
