What is CVE-2026-77704?

The Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar plugin for WordPress prior to version 2.4.9 features an authorization vulnerability that allows users to change appointment statuses without proper capability checks. This flaw enables customers to set arbitrary statuses on their bookings, including approving their own appointments left in pending status and modifying another customer's booking status on shared appointments. Such exploitation can lead to unauthorized access and manipulation of booking processes within this plugin.
