What is CVE-2026-77826?

The RegistrationMagic plugin for WordPress fails to properly verify the application associated with a Facebook access token prior to accepting it for user authentication. This significant oversight allows unauthenticated attackers to either gain access to existing user accounts by obtaining valid tokens or to create new accounts without any restrictions, even when user registration is disabled.
