What is CVE-2026-78087?

The VK Blocks plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability through its Group Block 'linkToPost' feature. This issue arises due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping practices existing in all releases up to and including version 1.126.1. As a result, authenticated users with contributor-level access or higher can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts. These scripts can execute automatically when other users access the manipulated pages, potentially compromising user data and site integrity.
