What is CVE-2026-79615?

The Quiz and Survey Master plugin for WordPress prior to version 11.2.4 contains a security flaw where it fails to verify authorization when retrieving question bank entries via its REST API. This oversight allows users with minimal roles, such as Contributor, to access sensitive quiz information, including questions, hints, and correct answers belonging to other users. Such a vulnerability poses risks of unauthorized information disclosure and potential exploitation.
