What is CVE-2026-79713?

The Breeze Cache WordPress plugin prior to version 2.5.15 is susceptible to a vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to exploit cached pages. The plugin fails to account for a specific set of tracking-related query parameters in its page-cache key. As a result, when a page is cached with such parameters, it can be served under the attacker’s request context. This flaw potentially exposes sensitive data when the cached entry is subsequently accessed by other visitors, leading to unauthorized information disclosure.

Affected Version(s)

Breeze Cache 1.2.5 < 2.5.15

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
