What is CVE-2026-80340?

The Payment Plugins for PayPal WooCommerce plugin, prior to version 2.0.26, lacks proper validation of the order key when adding order data to the JavaScript configuration output on the front end. This oversight allows unauthenticated users to access sensitive information by sequentially iterating through order identifiers. As a result, attackers could potentially retrieve the secret that grants access to any order, exposing critical billing and shipping details of customers.

Affected Version(s)

Payment Plugins for PayPal WooCommerce 1.0.0 < 2.0.26

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
