What is CVE-2026-81402?

The DS Ad Rotator plugin for WordPress versions up to 0.8 is susceptible to a serious vulnerability due to the lack of capability checks, nonce validation, and file-type restrictions in its image upload handler. This oversight allows unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files, including potentially harmful PHP scripts, to a directory that can be accessed via the web.
